You could have sold those articles at $10 each and made a quick $1,000 that could be spent (or saved) today, rather than using that same 100 articles to generate page views that have no guarantee of returning that much money on your time or effort.Bianca Ravenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14377888281894464895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3169815326280003165.post-3158985839832620902009-02-18T03:59:00.000+10:302009-02-18T03:59:00.000+10:30One of my articles was rejected recently. In my article the headline was `Selecting the best yet free audio software'. They wanted it like `Selecting the Best Yet Free Audio Software'.

My other mistake was submitting the article in `Garamond' type. I had not checked out their guidelines which specifically states that articles should be in either `12 point Times Roman' or `12 points `Arial', single spacing with double lines between paragraphs.

Have sent the article with necessary modifications and till not it has not yet been rejected.

Sometimes articles get rejected for trivial issues like this... especially when submitting to professional sites.parsibaganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02218766202481898320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3169815326280003165.post-72279678852677587752009-02-18T01:32:00.000+10:302009-02-18T01:32:00.000+10:30While I agree you don't need to start with revenue...While I agree you don't need to start with revenue-sharing site, they CAN be lucrative as well as lead to further freelance gigs.Mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03950629596068215063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3169815326280003165.post-46210223497684413732009-02-14T14:12:00.000+10:302009-02-14T14:12:00.000+10:30I am speechless. They want writers to improve because it makes their job easier.Bianca Ravenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14377888281894464895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3169815326280003165.post-50186028716535074732009-02-14T07:02:00.000+10:302009-02-14T07:02:00.000+10:30Occasionally, when you are right on the cusp of ge...Occasionally, when you are right on the cusp of getting it right, a rejection notice will actually tell you what you did wrong. For me, that is proof that editors do not hate writers when they reject items; after all, why give advice to someone you loathe?Morgan Drake Ecksteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09258538066497554895noreply@blogger.com
